Who I am ...
Being a mother to four gregarious children, and a wife to a lazy workaholic, finding the time to write has been testing, however I find the time by writing by firelight, alone, with a glass of wine, BLISS!! I reside in the coastal town of Gosport, Hampshire, UK. I have been writing for only a short time. In that time I have been fortunate to have met many esteemed authors who have encouraged me to put pain to pen. I write from the heart. I write from within. I exorcise the demons that have haunted me throughout my life.
I have written poetry and short stories for many Horror Anthologies and Magazines, (fifteen so far!) I have many projects bubbling away in the pipeline.
MY BIO~
Charlotte Emma Gledson currently resides in the south-coastal town of Gosport UK. Her heart however yearns to return to her roots in the Northwest of England, specifically Cumbria. With many short stories and poems published in Anthologies and Magazines, Charlotte is currently penning a supernatural novel called ‘Bluebells For My Baby’, along with a compilation of all her short stories entitled ‘The Lonely Tree And Other Twisted Tales of Torment’. Married with four gregarious children and a vast collection of ventriloquist dummies and porcelain dolls, she finds time relaxing with sips of wine, vodka and lets her hair down indulging in karaoke.

"PARANOIA" IS PUBLISHED IN THE APRIL ADDITION IN "THE WORLD OF MYTH" MAGAZINE.
"A TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE" HAS FOUND A HOME IN THE WORD WEAVERS HORROR ANTHOLOGY "REQUIEM FOR THE DAMNED".
"SHADOW MAN" IS MY LATEST SHORT STORY, and has now been accpepted for publication in Darkened Horizons Issue four.
"THE ROUND WINDOW" is a short story that I am in the process of completing. Based on true events, but not directed to my own personal experiences but from one who is close to me and whom I tried to help and support. This person is indeed a total inspriration to me. She is a shining light to those who are and have been blighted with the curse of addiction and depression.

"FIRST IMPRESSION" Now available in NVF Magazine - new voices in ficton June 28th - August 28th addition. (Deadly Dolls - femme fatale fiction - will feature this story also...A NVF publication - release in the fall). "DON'T LOOK DOWN" will be featured in THE MONSTERS NEXT DOOR E-zine come July 08.
"RETRIBUTION" has found a home ( and it feels like home) In Darkened Horizons issue 5
"BEHIND CLOSED DOORS" Will be available in the August issue of SNM Horror Magazine.
"THE LONELY TREE" and "THE HAND THAT FEEDS" will appear in the Ladies Of Horror 2008 - released October 08.
"GROWING PAINS" Will be featured in the 9 of Swords Magazine - September 2008
"COME FOLLOW ME MY LOVE" will be featured in the SINISTER LANDSCAPES Anthology edited by Alan Draven. Featured authors being Brandon Ford, Eric Enck, Reyana Vance, Jessica Lynne Gardner and Thom Futrell to name but a few!
I am truly grateful for the chance to be exposed with many other aspiring and accomplished authors many indeed have become good friends. Currently I am writing a chilling horror/supernatural tale called Bluebells for my Baby. This is the biggest project I have undertaken, and I am very excited about it. The Edward Ballister Project is also an exciting challenge. Jeff Ezall and Jessica Lynne Gardner are inspirational to me.
